Lunch picker template
This lunch picker template loads six everyday places on the homepage wheel. Replace them with the restaurants on your block, then spin so the group stops debating the same three options every Friday.
What this template loads
- Tacos
- Salad
- Pizza
- Sushi
- Burgers
- Leftovers
Tacos, salad, pizza, sushi, burgers, leftovers are placeholders. Edit freely. Add takeout and the leftover box if that is the real list. Don’t repeat winners is optional here; most lunch groups want the same place to be able to win tomorrow. Save a named wheel if this is a weekly office list. It stays in this browser.
Open the decision wheel instead if you want that URL’s framing. This template stays on the homepage tool on purpose so a quick food pick does not need a special path. It will not wipe a classroom roster saved on the student picker. Add the one place nobody wants to say out loud. Edit, spin once as a test, then use it for the real lunch vote.
Picking lunch without renegotiating the menu
Put only places the group will actually walk to. A slice nobody can reach becomes an argument the moment it wins. Delete closed shops and add the one place that opened this month. Keep each line short enough to read on a phone at the elevator.
Agree on the budget and the time before the spin, not after the winner appears. The wheel will not know that one cafe is too far for a thirty-minute break. If dietary limits remove a place, remove the line. Do not leave it on the wheel and promise to respin when it lands.
Spin once for the group. People who opt out of that place can split off without erasing the result for everyone else. Save the edited list in the browser if the same office eats together most days, and revisit the lines when someone new joins.
