How it works

  1. Paste entries. One person or one ticket line per row. Copy the names yourself. NamesWheel does not import comments.
  2. Leave Don't repeat winners on. This wheel opens with that switch on, so a drawn name leaves the pool. Turn it off only if the same person may win twice.
  3. Spin. Press Spin once per winner. The history lists the order. Spin again for second and third while the removed names stay out.

A raffle wheel draws from the lines you pasted. The first spin picks one line. With Don't repeat winners on, that line is gone and the next spin uses what is left. That is the whole multiple-winner flow.

A lucky draw still needs a list you can show. Read the names back before the first spin so people can see their line is there. If a name is missing, add it and tell the room you changed the list.

Settings explained

ControlWhat it does
Don't repeat winnersAfter a spin, that entry leaves the pool. The next spin cannot land on it until you put it back. Turning this on also turns Allow repeated winners off.
Allow repeated winnersThe full list stays in play after every spin. Use this when the same result is allowed to come up again.
No repeatsEveryone is picked once this round, and the names stay on the list. They are not deleted. A new round makes them eligible again. This switch does not make the draw more random.
SpinStarts one draw from the entries that are still in the pool.

Use cases

Three prizes. A raffle wheel for a small event is three spins with removal, not one spin that lists three names at once. Example: Ticket numbers 001–250, Don't repeat winners on, Spin three times.

Raffle giveaway. Publish the rules before you collect names: who may enter, how many winners, and what the prize is. Example: One winner and two backups, drawn in that order.

Raffle number picker. Paste the ticket numbers you actually sold. Do not load a range that includes unsold numbers. Example: 014, 015, 022, 108, and the rest of the sold list.

A live draw. A giveaway picker on a stream still needs the names in the box. The overlay shows the wheel. It does not pull a chat. Example: Paste the final list, then open the stream page if you need an overlay.

Spin draw for a club. A spin and win wheel here is a name draw. It does not pay money and it does not connect to a ticket shop. Example: Member names, one line each, Spin once.

NamesWheel does not import comments. For an Instagram giveaway, copy the names into the box yourself and follow the Instagram giveaway picker. The host is responsible for the promotion rules and the local law. The post should say that Instagram does not sponsor the giveaway.

For a gift exchange where each person gives once and receives once, use the Secret Santa generator instead of spinning this wheel one name at a time.

The draw stays in this browser. A share link opens a copy. It is not a live editor for two people. If you need a note of the result, copy the history before you close the tab.

Do not describe the result as a payout. This is a picker for a list you control. There is no ticket account and no prize is shipped by the site.

Count the lines before the first spin and say that count. People trust a raffle when they can see their name and the size of the pool. If you add a late entry, say so and show the new count. A quiet edit after you promised the list was final is the thing that makes a draw look rigged, not the spin itself.

One spin picks one line. Three winners means three spins with Don't repeat winners left on. The history is the order. Write the prizes next to those places yourself. This page does not assign a prize label unless you put the prize in the line, and the prize wheel is the page for stock.

If the names came from a post, you still paste them. NamesWheel does not import comments. Keep a copy of the final list beside you so a dispute can be checked against the lines that were actually on the wheel, not against a screenshot of the comments from an hour earlier.

Keep the promised list on screen for the whole draw. Do not open a second tab and spin a different set. When you have the winners, read them in order from the history and stop. Extra spins are extra winners unless you said they were only backups. Backups should be announced before the first spin, not invented when the first winner is absent. Absent people need a rule you wrote earlier.

Tips and fairness

Write the rule for ties and for people who are not present before you spin. The wheel will still land on a line that you left in the list.

Spinning until a particular name appears is not a raffle. One spin per winner, in front of the people you promised to show.

Common questions

How do I draw multiple raffle winners?

Paste entries, spin once per prize, and leave Don’t repeat winners on. History keeps first, second, and third.

Does a winner stay in the wheel?

Not by default. The raffle wheel removes each winner so the next spin is among who is left.

Should I show the list before I spin?

Yes. A fair giveaway is a list people can see, then one spin. The giveaway guide has the full checklist.

How is the raffle winner chosen?

The same cryptographic pick as every NamesWheel tool, before the animation. See the randomness page.

Can I keep a receipt?

History stores the order. Copy or export names after the draw. Reset history when the next event starts.

How do I draw three winners?

Leave Don't repeat winners on and press Spin once for each place. The first name leaves the pool. The second spin uses whoever remains. The history shows the order. Do not keep spinning until a favorite name appears. That is a different rule from the one you announced.

Can NamesWheel read my giveaway comments?

No. NamesWheel does not import comments. You copy the names into the box. Read the Instagram giveaway picker if the names came from a post. You still have to follow the platform's promotion rules, and the post should say the platform does not sponsor the giveaway.
