Presentation order template

This presentation order template opens the random order generator with five speaker slots. Shuffle the whole speaking line at once instead of spinning one name at a time. Put the finished order on the board so the room can see it.

Load this list and spin

What this template loads

  • Speaker 1
  • Speaker 2
  • Speaker 3
  • Speaker 4
  • Speaker 5

Replace Speaker 1 through 5 with real names. The order tool is built for a speaking line, a playlist, or turn-taking — not a single winner. Fair mode is on in the template so the line is a real shuffle. Use the student picker if you only need the next person. Use this page when the room needs the full order on the board.

The classroom name picker guide explains one-at-a-time cold call. This page is the whole-line version for a speaking line or playlist. Loading it writes to the order tool only and leaves the student picker roster alone on this device. Edit the five slots, shuffle once as a test, then use the line.

Setting a speaking order people can see

Paste the speakers in any order. The spin is what assigns the sequence, so the order you typed is not the order they will stand. If someone presents as a pair, put the pair on one line so they are not split across the hour.

Use don’t-repeat, then spin until the list is empty. Read each name into a numbered note as it lands. That note is the running order. Do not rebuild it from memory after the last spin, because a missed name is easier to see in the note than on a wheel that has already finished.

If a speaker is late, leave the line in place and spin the remaining names. Insert the late speaker at the end or in the next open slot by editing the note, and tell the room you did that by hand. The wheel should not be asked to pretend a late arrival was random.
